The Elphinstone is a dive site located in the Red Sea – Egypt.It is an underwater pinnacle of granite, which drops from a depth of approximately 45 meters to a depth of 90 meters. On the western side of the pinnacle, you can find an archway looking like a tunnel with only three openings as headroom for divers.In addition to this arched tunnel, divers will notice many large overhangs that start at ground level and curve upwards to form pillars that vary in thickness and reach heights of up to 10 meters before they join with the main rock formation; creating immense amounts of sheltering space for marine life.
